Want to have fun this summer and help us raise some money?

So you want to want to help the Abortion Rights Campaign, see some bands, have fun and meet some lovely people? You’re in the right place.

The Workers Beer Company is an important source of fundraising for the Abortion Rights Campaign. This is how it works: the Workers Beer Company (WBC) is a not-for-profit organisation that runs bars at festivals. The WBC bars are staffed by volunteers from a range of social justice movements. The money that the WBC would have paid in wages is then donated to the good cause that the volunteer is supporting.

You want to help ARC? All you have to do is fill in this application form: http://tinyurl.com/arcwbc2016 Closer to the time of the concerts we’ll contact everyone who has signed up, and confirm which concerts we need you for. Certain concerts need more bar staff than others, so we can’t guarantee anything (but we do our best.)

What happens next? You sign up, and we’ll be in touch. All volunteers must be aged 18 or older and be legally entitled to work in Ireland. We do our absolute best to support the ARC volunteers and provide you with everything you need. You don’t need any bar experience – just enthusiasm, willingness to work, and a desire to jump in and help a really great, grassroots organisation that’s fighting for abortion rights in this country. When your bar shift finishes up you get to enjoy the music, and enjoy a couple of free pints safe in the knowledge that you’ve done something to improve the lives of women in Ireland.

We get a huge amount of applications every year so please be patient.

Spread the word, and pass this link http://tinyurl.com/arcwbc2016 on to your friends and family! If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to get in touch with us on [email protected].

Looking forward to meeting you this summer!
