Then come along to this very special workshop that includes a demo by artist Will St Leger. \nThis workshop will respond to the theme of this year’s march ‘Time To Act’. Participants will be shown how to design placards\, posters\, t-shirts\, costumes\, banners\, flags and whatever else you can dream up. These will include images and slogans featuring timepieces to deliver our message loudly\, clearly and creatively to our government that we want abortion access for all NOW! \nPlease note: We will document the event using photography\, audio and video for sharing across our online platforms. If you don’t have an idea\, we can help you come up with one! If you have materials you would like to share or donate such as card\, paper\, acetate\, craft knives\, paint\, spray paint etc. these will be gratefully received. \n3. This workshop involves spray paint. Is it safe for me to attend if I have a respiratory condition (eg. asthma)?\nStencil making will take place indoors and spraying will be done outdoors. We will provide some paint for people who would prefer an alternative to spraying their stencils. We will do our utmost to ensure health and safety standards are preserved but ultimately\, it is the responsibility of every participant to look after your own well being during this event. \n4. DESCRIPTION:Wicklow Pro Choice are getting together for a poster making morning on Saturday September 23rd.  \nWe’ll be meeting as a pro-choice community in Common Ground Bray to get crafty\, making posters for the 6th Annual March for Choice on September 30th. This is going to be the biggest and most important march yet\, so we need to make it the most colourful!  \nWe’re proud that this is our first family friendly event\, so all ages are welcome.  \nIf this is your first event with Wicklow Pro Choice it’s a great place to start. Stop by anytime between 10 am and 1pm to say hi\, get ideas for your own placard\, or work on some ideas with like-minded folk.  \nWe’ll need some materials to get going\, so if you’re coming down please bring any of the following if you can:  \n– paper\n– card\n– cardboard boxes\n– pencils \n– paint\n– brushes \n– newspaper \n– craft knives (for stencils) \n– cereal boxes (for stencils) \n– rulers \n– glue \n– glitter!! \n…and anything else you might need for your poster  \nIf you have any ideas that you’d like to share\, please post them on the event page.  \nWe’re delighted that Common Ground\, Bray can host us for this event. DESCRIPTION:Tipp for Choice are getting ready for March for Choice! We’re hosting a banner-making session in Cashel at 3pm on Saturday 9th September\, followed by a public action at 5pm. All prochoice people are welcome\, and it will be a child-friendly session and event. The maker session will be held at a member’s house so pm or email us for directions. Bring ideas and any stray craft materials in the Tipp colours that you have lying about! We’ll also supply a variety of items to work on\, from paper craft to crochet – please bring needles & wool if you have it. Don’t feel you need any crafting experience though\, the main aim is to have a meet up\, a bit of fun\, and get some ideas together for the campaign. Hope to see you there!
