It’s the perfect combination! \nPaddy’s Day is our national celebration of Ireland but let’s not forget that Irish women have being fighting for bodily autonomy for decades!  \nAnd it’s our job to be global ambassadors and EDUCATE people on R E P E A L (while we of course drink pints).  \nIt’s easy\, just post a pic of yourself or your pint using the hashtags #pintsforrepeal #repealthe8th.  \nIf you live abroad: You can donate money to The Abortion Support Network\, who provide financial assistance to those forced to travel for an abortion. \nIf you live in Ireland: We are asking Irish people to donate 8 for the 8th. DESCRIPTION:On Friday 16th March at 7pm\, Galway Pro-Choice will be launching the ‘Everyday Stories’ exhibition in the Galway Arts Centre. ‘Everyday Stories’ is a project featuring real-life stories of women and families impacted by the Eighth Amendment. It was cofounded by Caoimhe Anglin and Mary McDermott in 2017. \nThe exhibition runs until the 29th March in the Galway Arts Centre and is available online at www.everydaystories.org. Facilitated audio events featuring real-life accounts followed by a discussion will be taking place on Saturday 17th and Saturday 24th March at 4pm in the Galway Arts Centre. Members of the public are invited to come along and take part in the discussion. The events are free of charge. With the referendum fast approaching\, we’d like to take an opportunity to engage with those interested in engaging with legal arguments for repealing the 8th amendment. Items discussed at this meeting with include campaign strategies\, and legal arguments that you can use canvassing. Come along to Trinity College’s Arts Block (the building at the Nassau St. entrance to the university) on the 26th of February at 18.30pm to learn more. The meeting will be in Room 3126\, on the third floor of the building.
