SUMMARY:Belfast - What would Repeal mean for us?
DESCRIPTION:  \nThis panel discussion will focus on the impact of a successful Repeal referendum on Northern Ireland. What effect will it have on our political parties? Should we prepare for a backlash? How should the abortion rights campaign groups respond? If abortion becomes more accessible on the island\, will the campaign in the North lose momentum? What must we do to capitalise on this and use it to push for abortion rights north of the border? Come and join members of the Rally for Choice organising team and a panel of experts for this lively discussion event. \nJoining us on our panel of seasoned activists will be our very own Elaine Crory who is also a member of Hollaback Belfast and BFN; Emily Waszak\, a founding member of MERJ (Migrants and Ethnic-Minorities for Reproductive Justice) and Strike 4 Repeal; Kellie Turtle from WRDA (Women’s Resource and Development Agency) and the Belfast Feminist Network. \nThe venue is fully accessible and the event is family friendly with games\, colouring and supervision for children.
