DESCRIPTION:Abortion Rights Campaign Stencil Making for March Placards and Posters\n7pm – 9pm Tuesday 26th September 2017\nTemple Bar Gallery + Studios\, Dublin.\nBook Tickets \nAbout the event\nWant to design and make a stencil you can re-use and share for the 6th Annual March for Choice 30th Sept? Then come along to this very special workshop that includes a demo by artist Will St Leger. \nThis workshop will respond to the theme of this year’s march ‘Time To Act’. Participants will be shown how to design placards\, posters\, t-shirts\, costumes\, banners\, flags and whatever else you can dream up. These will include images and slogans featuring timepieces to deliver our message loudly\, clearly and creatively to our government that we want abortion access for all NOW! \nPlease note: We will document the event using photography\, audio and video for sharing across our online platforms. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?\nThis is an all ages event however minors (under 18 year olds) must be accompanied by a guardian or parent. Some conversation topics amongst participants may contain adult themes. \n2. Do I need to bring anything with me?\nMaterials and equipment will be provided. If you don’t have an idea\, we can help you come up with one! If you have materials you would like to share or donate such as card\, paper\, acetate\, craft knives\, paint\, spray paint etc. these will be gratefully received. \n3. This workshop involves spray paint. Is it safe for me to attend if I have a respiratory condition (eg. asthma)?\nStencil making will take place indoors and spraying will be done outdoors. We will provide some paint for people who would prefer an alternative to spraying their stencils. We will do our utmost to ensure health and safety standards are preserved but ultimately\, it is the responsibility of every participant to look after your own well being during this event. \n4. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?\nYou can show proof of purchase on your phone or other digital device if you don’t have a printed ticket. \n5. Can I cancel my ticket?\nYes. Please notify us at actions@abortionrights.ie so we can release your place for someone else as soon as possible. \n6. Is this event accessible?\nThe venue for this event is wheelchair accessible.\nMany Abortion Rights Campaign members are trained in sighted guiding and will be happy to provide assistance at this event however pre-booking at least 48 hours in advance is essential. \nUnfortunately\, we cannot guarantee sign language interpretation but we ask deaf and hearing impaired attendees to get in touch as early as possible when booking so that we can do our best to accommodate. \nIf you have any of the needs listed above or others not listed\, please notify us at actions@abortionrights.ie so we can do our best to ensure your participation. \n7.
