DESCRIPTION:The Abortion Rights Campaign along with Galway Pro-Choice are offering you a FREE training in how to talk to your elected representatives. \nThe ‘Talk to your TD Training’ will give you the skills that you need in the run up to the General Election to ensure that #Repealthe8th is a RED LINE ISSUE. \nWe want to show TDs and General Election Candidates that there is broad support across the country for both the Repeal the 8th Campaign\, and access to free\, safe and legal abortion in Ireland. \nRepeal the 8th needs to be a red line issue\, and must be in the next programme for government. The first step in achieving this is engagement with your local TDs and Candidates. The Abortion Rights Campaign and Galway Pro Choice wants to empower you to do this. \nThe training aims to strengthen the growing network of pro-choice advocates in Ireland\, practically prepare pro-choice activists to talk to their local TDs\, connect pro-choice advocates across the county with the national movement\, and lay the foundation for a longer-term national campaign. \nYou’ll leave the training armed with the practical skills to enable you to raise this issue with your TDs\, and ensure repeal the 8th is an election issue.
